Stampede of wild horses

A massive heavy horse galloping at full speed, passing by and moving away into the distance. Deep low-frequency hoofbeats heard through the ground, earth-shaking thuds, sub-bass rumble. Three clear galloping strides, each with four distinct hoof impacts (ta-da-da-dum rhythm). Each stride noticeably quieter and more distant than the previous one, fading out. Packed dirt ground, no music, no neighing, no ambience, dry and powerful, cinematic. recorded with a contact microphone on the ground, muffl

Silent night in open countryside, recorded on a handheld recorder. Nothing but faint still air for the first second, then one farm dog barks twice, far away across dark fields, each bark short and small, then the silence returns. The dog is very distant, thin and quiet, dry outdoor air, nothing else in the recording.
